LWV Licking County Day of Action

Responding to population changes, legislators in Columbus will soon adjust the district boundaries on Ohio’s political maps. Partisan advantage has skewed our election outcomes for the last decade as a result of how the boundaries took shape in 2011.  Will two new amendments aiming to curb partisan gerrymandering really make a difference this year?  What is at stake and what can we do to keep the redistricting process fair and above board?  Speakers from the local League of Women Voters and the NAACP of Licking County will explain and take questions.
